About Moram

Nestled in the heart of a picturesque village called Debanandapur, Moram, Return to Nature and Tradition gives you the perfect experience of nature stay. Envisioned to be an eco-project, MORAM has always promoted eco-tourism and sustainable living.

The Summer in Birbhum is not only known for the scorching heat and sultry weather but also for its wild storms that refresh Nature. It is the season of juicy mangoes and their delicious recipes.

About The Workshop

The art of pottery is oftentimes described as therapeutic and relaxing. While spinning clay, your mind and body are in natural synergy, wrapped around your creative ambitions and goals. This thoughtful artistic activity can open up the mind and relieve you outside worries. A pottery class engages the sense of smell with clay and paint, the sense of sight with artwork and the sense of touch with clay. Pottery enables for improvements in flow and spontaneity, provides an outlet for grief and helps you with self-identification.

Accommodation Plan

Double sharing non AC traditional “Matir Bari” (Thatched Mud Room with Western Toilet ) which has straw roof and mud wall to keep the room cool and pleasant during summer.

Meal Plan

All three meals with snacks and tea will be provided ( basic veg / non veg bengali meal ) in restaurant area.

Additional Activities

Organic farming, plantation & gardening, feeding & taking care of domestic pets, making cow dung cakes, tribal village tour, tribal cooking class, folk & classical music sessions, charkha workshop, batik workshop, kantha workshop etc.

Age Group

Beginners to Intermediate in between 8 yrs. to 80 yrs.

Batch Size & Timing

4 heads only per batch, depending on the duration / period of pottery workshop registration.

From 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Cancellation Policy Cancellation before 15 days of the start date, 60% will be refunded. Cancellation before 12 days of the start date, 30% will be refunded. Cancellation before 10 days of the start date, 20% will be refunded. Cancellation within 7 days of the start date, no refund will be entertained. How to Register?
